Happy New Year! I wish all the best to you all! I wanted to share a quote (above)  that I find really close to my heart this year. It gives me hope for a fresh and beautiful (and sexy) new 2012!

I will be back in a day or two with a limited time offer Valentine’s day special in my Langley Boudoir Studio! (get them while you can, as this doesn’t happen very often!) and also I will be blogging a session aka a lovely reveal story!

I don’t know about you, but this summer has been BUSY! And truly, the weather hasn’t been very summer like. I am trying to enjoy it, but somehow I am not really enjoying it as I miss the sunshine.

So, I have to pretend that summer is in my mind, and that summer is a state of mind! So, I have been enjoying many iced vanilla lattes (but should maybe consider the hot version instead!)I am feeling rather lazy these days. A lot to take care, of and not a lot of get up and go! I swear it is the weather! Oh well, I choose to make my days the best that I can!

We have a lot going on at home, and so that I why the lack of blogging!  (sorry!) I promise that once the kids are back in school in September, more regular blogging and posting will happen! Lots of wonderful things happening around me, and taking the time to enjoy! It has been good to kind of disconnect myself from Facebook more often, and twitter. Chilling with my family and friends instead. It has been good for us all! I am enjoying family dinners with my crew! We have been doing a lot of grilling lately. Yum!

I have organized most of our home, and did a lot of give aways, and toss aways in the process. Spring cleaning that is happening in summer! Better now, than never.  When I am feeling unmotivated, I set a goal for myself. I could be like, in the next ten minutes I am going to clean out the junk drawer. Seeing the one cleaned out drawer feels good. Then I want to set a few more mini goals for myself. And eventually the momentum carries me to work on the bigger projects that await!

When I am shooting a boudoir session, I always manage to find the spark inside that

Beautifully Different

Change. It is something I am familiar with. Something I like in my life. I don’t know what it is about me. Except that I look at change as something I can look forward to, and work towards something new and fresh. I always say, change is as good as a rest. I have been working on my new site since the beginning of the year! And finally, today is the day! I am so EXCITED!!

Change has happened here once again! Welcome to my brand new site called Beautifully Different! Why, because why because all women are beautifully different to me. It may be your crazy curly hair, your hips, your eyes. Your freckles. The way you do things for others. Or something about who you are. Like maybe you have a difference that has made you a better person. Or, you have learned to just be you. Overcome something that was an obstacle in your life. A challenge. Each of us are different. And truly, we need to celebrate our differences. Embrace our differences. Love our differences. So, out of a lot soul searching for me, and figuring out what makes me beautifully different, and figuring out what I wanted to do for women. Change happened.  In a BIG WAY! Personally, and in my business. And this new site was born! I am so so EXCITED about it, and how I can help women. All women. Not just clients who wanted to have boudoir shoots. I have decided to help women, and focus in on women’s portraits. Of all types! Don’t you worry, my signature boudoir sessions are still available. I also wanted to be available for other women who might not want to bare it all. Or simply, have some headshots done. I encourage you to take a look at all I have to offer in the way of women’s portraits. I have also included teens, tweens and graduates into the mix! I also have a brand new session called MUSE! I am really excited about what is going down here at Beautifully Different.

All I know is that photographing women, lights me up inside! And I love helping women with their self, and personal development. And to create empowering experiences for women in front of my lens. It is amazing to see the transformations women go through. To watch them go for I am alright, to I am AMAZING!  In this process, I have realized I have to be who I am, and stand up for what I believe in! I want to serve women in a way that will rock their socks off, and not to hold back anymore! I love that I am able to help others by using my camera as a tool to help other women. I love creating art! I love what I do! The past years have been so amazing for me, and I only look forward to the future of creating heirloom pieces for women!

I am so excited about everything my Beautifully Different site has to offer you! I really want you to have a look around. There are lots of little goodies here that you can use today, to help love who you are. RIGHT now. I just want to say thank you to all of those who helped me to launch Beautifully Different.
