Hello and Happy Friday! Today is the 10th of June. And well, I didn’t obviously get picked for the DOVE competition. I would have been in Toronto today, being photographed. And truly, I am honoured, and flattered that I made it to the top 50 of 2300 women. I am proud of me for making it that far! (OK, and yes I am a little bummed out too. I am not going to lie!) I received a voicemail this morning. I will be receiving a DOVE gift basket as a thank you for my entry. That is cool. 
I have so much to be thankful for. I have so much to be grateful for. Even for the littlest things. Or the bigger things that happen.
Today, I am thankful for my good health, and the health of my family. In less than a week my beautiful Granny turns 90! I am excited to celebrate with all of our family, and her friends next weekend! Go GRANNY go!
Today, I am thankful for our home, and everything we have inside of our home. Including groceries in the fridge, and warm beds to sleep in!
Today, I am thankful for my husband, and our kids. Oh how I love them all!
My scars from my surgery on March 1st are healing up so nicely! I can hardly see the lines anymore! My veins are going away too! It is very exciting to wear skirts and dresses and feel good in them!
I am thankful for the french pedi I had done last weekend. My toes and feet really needed some TLC in a bad way! Now my toes look nice when they peep out of my black wedge shoes! I love that the sun is around a bit more, and that it is getting warmer around here! I look forward to Summer!

So glad to hear that you are “ok” with not being chosen. From what I have seen and what I have read, you have nothing to worry about. You are a beautiful person, inside and out! You mentioned it in the post above, you are truly blessed. Don’t forget it.
