HELLO, gorgeous!
Well here it is! Wishing you all a happy Friday! It is the merry month of May (well usually it is, but the weather has been really wet!) We have had SO much rain, and the skies have been very grey and overcast. Yesterday the sun came out and it was beautiful again! I was beginning to think there wouldn’t be anymore sunshine! Thankfully I was wrong. 
So now that my
Beautifully Different site is live, and I am getting all of the little kinks and issues out of the way, it is time to resume my regular features like my Friday Five, and my True to you Tuesday. I also have SO many more weekly ideas for you all enjoy! I have created a blogging calendar, and I plan on sticking with it! Yay! So here it goes!
Here are my Friday Five, in no particular order!
I am so thankful to be able to get my new site up and running after over 5 months of work, blood sweat and few tears! I am so thankful to those who helped me get it ready! Let me say, I have a wonderful team of professionals behind me! Sarah, Julianne, Leah, Cynthia and Shelly. They all understood my vision, and helped me to create the site I have always been dreaming of! And of course, thanks to my understanding hubby, and children! I truly am so blessed to have you all in my life! Thank you ALL! xoxo
On Wednesday morning, I had my last round of vein injections aka sclerotherapy in my left leg varicose veins. Currently, I have to wear these LOVELY compression stockings on BOTH sides a week! Next Thursday I will be extra thankful for free legs! Only one more check up to go in six weeks! It has been a process! Only thing left to do on my legs will be the cosmetic fix ups! Yay! And to be able to exercise regularly again will be a BIG bonus! I miss running! And, ultimately will help my legs to stay healthy!
I am thankful to see sunshine. Like I say, after weeks and weeks of rain and grey sky. I am SO thankful that it feels a bit more like Spring!
On Monday, May 9th, my husband and I celebrated 13 years of marriage! We went out for dinner, and after dinner, stopped into Starbucks for vanilla latte’s and a dream bar. (that dream bar is SOOO so yummy!) (I am EXTRA thankful for our wonderful sitter!)
Over the weekend I received an exciting voicemail! I am really thankful, grateful and excited to be chosen as a semi-finalist in the “
Dove” are you ready for your close up Facebook contest. Out of 2000 entries, I was picked and placed in the top 50 women! I am extra thankful to my cousin Erika who suggested I submit my story, and my photos. My close up would be my shoulders. To become a “Dove Girl” would be such an amazing experience, and truly I LOVE their company, and manifesto! I am thankful to my friend Kim Mallory for taking my close up photos for me! Too! Thanks Kim, you are awesome! xoxo
(Please keep your fingers and toes crossed that I will be picked! If so, I will be flown to Toronto, and will receive a day at the spa, and to get photographed. The photos will appear in
Elle magazine in the near future.

Cathy, I know the feeling about running! Since I have had both my hips replaced I bate the fact that I shouldn’t run again. Used to run 4 marathons a year plus other races! Hope you get back to it sooner than later. Congrats on the wedding anniversary!
